Project ACCESS selected as a finalist

The EU commission has recognised Project ACCESS as an exemplar broadband project within Europe by selecting it, along with 39 others, from an initial submission of 149 projects, to participate in a conference to explore broadband issues.

The event basically is a celebration of all the good things that are sponsored or enabled in some way by the EU Commission and this will take the form of a two day seminar combined with an exhibition of the finalists.  There is also a Dinner on the Monday evening to mark the event.

There is a competition for the best project.  The eventual winner will be decided by votes cast by those attending the seminar.
